Total Lunar Eclipse Coincides with Winter Solstice




These shots were taken today at approximately 1:40 am. Not great, but the best I can do with a point and shoot. There hasn't been a lunar eclipse on winter solstice in approximately 400 years, and the two events won't coincide again until Dec. 21, 2094. I won't be around to take pictures of that one...
